Jeni's Story

I was taught about God all my life. However my home was one that was a conditional love and performance based home. Therefore, my view of people and of God was that they will only accept me if I am a certain way.

Then in 1997 we moved to Lee's Summit and started attending Grace Church.

Friends showed me unconditional love and acceptance and I heard the truth about how God really sees me. I have slowly started to learn that people and God can love me with no strings attached. And I do not have to perform for them to be accepted.

Now I am learning to give unconditional love to others and how to have deep relationships with people.
